Rehearsal and Queen Pageant

July 9 at 3 pm is Rehearsal for Queen Pageant at the 4-H Bowl

July 10 at 8 pm is Queen Pageant at the 4-H Bowl where Miss Hancock Hancock County 2010 will be crowned.

If it rains the pageant will be held at the show arena.

JUDGING DAY

Monday, June 28 - 11:00am – 4:00pm ???
4-H QUEEN JUDGING held at BRANDYWINE Community Church, Greenfield. The judging day is closed to the public. Candidates only.

(Note: different location from the workshop and luau)



Pizza Party:
Stay tuned for pictures and video from the pizza party. The girls had a great time as well as the committee members. The girls had pizza and played several games. They also created raps which were great about the county fair! Video to come =)

Next EVENT - PIZZA PARTY

We had a wonderful turnout for our workshop and Fiesta. All 16 girls attended and had a great time getting to know each other. They learned interview skills, modeling, and putting on make-up. We had great Fiesta Food and cookies! I will be posting pictures later!

Our next event will be the Pizza Party at Mohawk UMC at 6pm on Wednesday, June 23.

You can wear casual clothes and come prepared to have a great time!

Workshop and Fiesta

We would like to welcome our 17 Queen contestants. We have two upcoming events. They are both on Sunday, June 13.


Queen Workshop
When: June 13
Time: 1-4:30
Where: Central Indiana Power Meeting Room (2243 East Main Street Greenfield)
What are we doing: This workshop is for candidates only. Dress Casually and please bring make-up, suits, dresses, jewelry, or shoes for help and opinions. We will be working on interview skills, walk, make-up, and answering any questions about the pageant.

After the Workshop we will be having the Fiesta!

Queen Candidate Fiesta
When: June 13
Time: starts promptly at 4:30
Where: Central Indiana Power Meeting Room (2243 East Main Street Greenfield)
Who is invited: Queen Candidate and One Female Adult Guest
What are we doing: There will be royalty guests in attendance for our fiesta. There will be food, fun, and games.

*All Queen Candidates need to be present at all Pageant events. If there should be a conflict with any of these dates, please contact a committee member as soon as possible. Thank you!

Sunday, May 2 - 4:00pm
PROSPECTIVE QUEEN CANDIDATE MEETING/APPLICATION WORKSHOP at the 4-H Fairgrounds. The meeting will be held in the Extension Office. This is an optional meeting designed to give you an idea of what being a 4-H Queen Candidate is all about. It is highly suggested to come and get help on how to properly fill out your application.

Sunday, June 13– 4:30pm to 6:30pm *PLEASE NOTE-the Fiesta will take place immediately after the presentation workshop. Please have your female guest arrive by 4:30pm after the workshop.
QUEEN CANDIDATE FIESTA at Central Indiana Power Meeting Room, Greenfield. Instructional gathering for Queen Candidates and one female adult guest. Food will be served with other royalty guests and 2009 Hancock County 4-H Fair Queen, Briana Darger, being in attendance.

Monday, June 28 - 11:00am – 4:00pm ???

Friday, July 9 - 3:00pm
REHEARSAL in 4-H Bowl at Fairgrounds. All Queen Candidates need to be present. If times interfere with other 4-H activities, please talk to the Queen Committee as soon as possible.

Saturday, July 10 - 8:00pm
4-H QUEEN PAGEANT in 4-H Bowl at Fairgrounds for public crowning of 4-H Queen and Court. Please be dressed and at the stage 30 minutes before designated time.

Sunday, July 11 - 1:30pm-2:00pm
4-H FAIR PARADE – All Queen Candidates are required to ride on the Queen Float. Candidates will meet at Fairgrounds North Parking Lot no later than 1:30. We are at the very beginning of the parade line-up. Everyone please bring a towel and umbrella. You may bring candy if you choose to do so.

*Central Indiana Power’s sponsorship ends with the crowning of the 4-H Queen. A schedule of activities for the Queen and her Court, to be used at the County Fair 4-H events, will be furnished by the 4-H Queen Committee. The Hancock County Queen will enter the Indiana State Fair Queen Contest in August, if she complies with the State Fair rules and regulations.
