2014 Dates
It's time to get geared up for the 2014 Hancock County 4-H Fair Queen Contest!
Life is busy so we have condensed some of our events and dates to hopefully make it a bit easier on everyone.
Tuesday, April 8th - Pizza Party and Application Workshop at 5:30 p.m. at the NineStar North campus
Thursday, May 1st - Applications are due by 4 p.m.
Tuesday, May 20th - Queen Workshop and Dinner with Female Guest, Workshop from 4:30-6:30 at Ninestar South and 6:30-7:30 Dinner with a Female guest
Tuesday, June 10th - Queen Judging at Brandywine, begins at 9 am
Friday, June 20th - Queen Practice at the 4-H Bowl, 3 p.m.
Saturday, June 21st - Queen Pageant at the 4-H Bowl, 7 p.m.

Photo Session with Dawn
Sunday morning just hours after being crowned the Hancock County 4-H Fair Queen Paige and her mother spent some time with our professional photographer, Dawn Wallace (The Photography Barn) http://thephotographybarn.blogspot.com/ and https://www.facebook.com/ThePhotographyBarn
Dawn is incredibly talented. I'm always amazed at her ideas and how she can pull together beautiful scenery from a fence post on the fairgrounds. She makes everything work and it is like we traveled elsewhere! Her ideas are endless....

Throughout the week I asked the girls on our Court to take pictures and send them my way. They definitely came through! Wow! My phone was overloaded every day with new pictures of their daily adventures. So much fun to see all the people they met and shows they attended.

We are VERY thankful for a wonderful week with the girls. They were all sweet, kind, and caring and made our jobs extremely easy. They were a wonderful representative of Hancock County and we are proud of each and every one of them!
