Queen Fiesta

We had a great turnout for the queen fiesta and the food was delicious. We had food, speeches, limbo, and the sombrero game. It was a lot of fun.

Pictures will be posted soon!

The next event will be June 30 -- Queen Judging at Brandywine Church in Greenfield. It is on the corner of Blue Road and New Road.

Make sure you practice for your interviews and walking in your shoes. Make a list of all the things you need to bring with you so you do not forget anything.

See you all there!

Girls having fun!

We had a nice turnout for the queen workshop this year. The girls practiced interview skills, make-up, and walking in their heels. They also learned about all the new things that are happening this year since we are celebrating the 50th year of the queen pageant.

Thanks to Ms. Emily Parker, 2007 Hancock County Fair Queen, for helping us out during the workshop!

We have a great response from the past queens who will be at the pageant this year to celebrate with us!

The next event will be the Queen Fiesta. We will have delicious food and each contestant will invite a lady guest to join her. 2007 Fair Queen, Emily Parker will be speaking. We will also be playing a few games so that the girls can get to know each other better.

Fiesta is this Saturday at Mohawk UMC at 11 am.
